Rafael Miku Beding started his career as a journalist at kompas.com, the online platform for one of Indonesia's leading national newspapers. He then went on to be a videographer and video journalist at WatchdoC for four years. Several of his works while at WatchdoC have been broadcast on Kompas TV, Metro TV, and Bloomberg TV Indonesia.
Currently, Rafael works as a filmmaker and cinematographer who is actively developing and growing with Komunitas Film Kupang. Some of his film works as Director of Photography include Hasai (2021), Bloody Rose (2022), Ammu Hawu (2022). Rafael also served as Art Director for the films Empu (2019) and Umma de Raffa (2022).
